Description
Travel along the first road connecting Krasnaya Polyana and the Sochi coast. It was built at the end of the 19th century. Its most picturesque section was laid in the impassable gorge of Akhtsu, a place where the height of sheer cliffs reaches 200 meters, and the mountain river Mzymta is raging below.
The road itself is a shelf carved into the rock, sometimes diving into tunnels, and protected by galleries in especially dangerous places. The length of the rocky area is 3 km.
We will ride along the Old Estonian road, through Krasnaya Polyana, three large sections of the old Polyana road including the Akhtsu gorge.
Then in the Medoveevka village we will go down to the Mzymta river, leave our bicycles and walk 1 km to the Dragon's mouth waterfall.
And then we will take a transfer back to the Rosa Khutor resort.
